The 1st Saturday Monthly Dance of March will be at the USO of North Carolina – Jacksonville Center, 9 Tallman Street, Jacksonville, NC on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 7-10pm and is open to all military and civilian.

The color scheme will be Green and Gold.

A beginner Foxtrot lesson will start the evening at 7pm followed by dancing until 10pm.

A review of the Waltz and Argentine Tango beginner lessons from previous dances will take place during the evening.

Admission is $10.00 at the door.  Teenagers and children who want to learn to dance may pay only $5.00.

Please consider bringing a refreshment to share.

It is our greatest pleasure to invite you all to our monthly dance at the USO, 9 Tallman St, in Jacksonville, NC. There will be a short lesson that starts at 7:00 p.m. followed by social dancing until 10:00 p.m. The lesson covered will be the West Coast Swing! What an exciting and invigorating dance! This is a night for fun, learning, and most importantly DANCING! We love dancing and we want to provide this evening for all who love to dance as well! Take a night out on the town and treat yourself to an evening of excitement. Remember, Dancing is not just fun but it is an easy way to work out. Most people do not even realize the extra benefits of dancing! Come and enjoy yourself and ask us how dancing can help you achieve different goals you may have already set for yourself!

Over the past four years, over 400 students have passed through the doors of the USO of North Carolina – Jacksonville Center for dance lessons.  Some have come every week, some for preparation for a wedding, fundraising for DWTS, tornado victims, Jacksonville Follies on behalf of the USO.  Many have  made new friends and have learned a skill that will last a lifetime.

It is now a new chapter for Ballroom Dancing NC.  The Group lessons will be discontinued on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Private lessons are still available and will be held at the USO.  Contact Sharon to schedule private lessons at 910-265-8939.

The First Saturday Monthly Dance will continue with a beginner lesson at 7:00pm followed by social dancing until 10:00pm.  $10.00/pp

Robert’s surgery is Thursday, August 7 at UNC Chapel Hill.  Please keep prayers going for him and the surgical team.  No classes for Thursday night, August 7.
